Baggying my hair yesterday definitely did my hair good. I unraveled my twists this morning and was happy to see shiny, well-defined curls. The grape seed oil that I used to seal my ends was absorbed well, leaving no greasy film. My curls, including my ends, are nice and smooth. Operation Save My Ends is off to a good start! ☺

Baggying is when you dampen your hair and cover it with a plastic bag to create a little heat. I put a conditioner on my hair when I do it. You can do it for a few minutes or overnight. It’s great for moisturizing your hair. It takes a little trial and error to see what works for you. The first time I did it, I let it stay on overnight and the conditioner I used made my hair mushy and soggy. That’s why I only did it for a few hours this last time.
